Reintroducing RE:NEW Beauty
Last October, we grew from just being Bio Sculpture GB to something more.
We shared the news about our new name, email addresses and product ranges. We mentioned the things that weren’t changing too—the team, brands, owners and prices. But we didn’t share enough, in truth, we didn’t do a good enough job.
Last October, we introduced you to RE:NEW Beauty. Today, we’re happy to reintroduce ourselves and tell you more about the work we’ve been doing.
Our new sense of purpose
After a bit of soul-searching, we decided to nail down and put into words exactly what we wanted RE:NEW to be.
While it’s clear that RE:NEW provides premium products and training, we’d left how and why we do this unsaid and unexplored. However, we soon agreed that we do what we do because we believe high standards should be the standard in the beauty industry.
Between the different options and the lack of official regulation, knowing what the standard should be can be far from simple, never mind reaching it. We want to make it simpler for beauty professionals to find and apply market-leading products, beauty skills and business advice. As a result, we’ve made it our mission to make the highest beauty standards easier to reach, and this is best summarised by our new strapline: For Better Beauty.
To live up to this promise, we realised we needed to do more than just provide training and products for customers. We needed to help people revive their product knowledge, refresh their skills and recharge their passion for the industry we love.
So, alongside revisiting how we follow up on training and hold events, we’re now producing regular blogs not just on product launches and news (like this one), but on how to perform on-trend applications and grow a successful business. Take a look at our blog to see for yourself.
Our new look
Whether you’ve come straight to this blog or have already had a browse, you may have noticed our new colours and logo. While these are overdue updates to get our visual identity in line with the style and standards of the beauty industry, they’re not the only changes we’ve been making to our appearance. Our website itself has also seen some subtle and significant changes.
We’ve looked to improve user experience and make it easier for visitors to get around and be inspired. The major changes include a new, decluttered home page, which cleans up and clears up everything we do, and a revamped training section, aimed at providing more detail on our different courses. However, we’ve even revisited more fiddly things, like how our login area and purchase requirements are presented and communicated.
There’s more to come, both in terms of our site and in general, but this is another significant step in establishing RE:NEW as the business we want it to be. Together with our visual identity, we believe these updates make our brand and offering much clearer.
