Get Festive with Bio Sculpture and Evo Nail Art
It's dark by 4pm, mince pies and advent calendars have appeared in every super market, and we're even considering putting the heating on for 10 minutes which means... Christmas is coming! And so are festive nails.
Our free online Christmas nail art course offers some fun and festive designs, so we'd thought we'd give you a sneak preview of what you can create using Bio Sculpture and Evo products.
Festive Tartan by Kate Bonar:
Tartan nails will always come back round every year, and it's never too late to master them! A tartan design can feature any colours you want, but to re-create Kate Bonar's design you will need:
Evo Scarlett & Evo High Pigment gel in Black, White and Gold. We recommend a long, fine brush such as the Premium Synthetic Upper Arch Brush or Fine Liner Brush.
Begin with two layers of your chosen colour, curing for 30 seconds between each layer.
Draw one long straight white line using White High Pigment Gel down the length of the nail.
For your second white light, draw straight across the width of the nail. Once you are happy with the look of these lines, cure in the Bio Sculpture Ultra Lamp for 60 seconds.
Next, create the same pattern on the opposite side of the nail using Black High Pigment Gel. Cure for 60 seconds.
And finally draw your final two lines using Gold High Pigment Gel, trying to keep the lines as even and parallel as possible. Cure for 60 seconds.
To finish, apply a thin layer of EVO Gloss Top Coat for a premium shine. Cure this for 30 seconds, and then let the nail rest for 30 seconds before wiping with Multi Cleanse and a nail wipe.
And there you have it! A super simple, festive nail art design. For more Christmas nail inspiration, check out our Free Festive Nail Art Course available now via your RE:NEW Beauty Training Portal. For more Kate Bonar designs, pop over to her Instagram.
