How to soak off gel nails

Once your clients’ gel nails have run their course, you’ll have to remove them before applying a new set. It’s important to properly remove gel nails as peeling them off could cause damage to the natural nail.

To remove gel nails, you should follow these steps:

  1. Buff the nails and remove the top layer of gel
  2. Apply Gel Remover to a cotton pad and pop on nail, wrap this in tin foil or a nail wrap for 10 minutes
  3. Test a nail to see if the gel comes away
  4. If it’s still hard, soak for an extra two minutes
  5. Gently remove the gel by scraping it away with a Gel Remover Tool
  6. Shape the nails
  7. Finish with a hand cream
