How We Test

Every Bio Sculpture product goes through extensive testing - both in-house, in our very own factory in South Africa, and via an independent laboratory. Having that outside check is important to us - it means nothing goes unmissed and our formulations and consistency are at the exact level you’d expect, and free of any nasty surprises.

Depending on the product, testing includes:

• UV stability: making sure the product cures consistently and behaves the way it should under a lamp
• Skin suitability and compatibility: looking at how the formula interacts with skin
• Natural nail testing: seeing how the product performs directly on the nail plate
• Allergy testing: where appropriate
• Microbial testing: checking for any contamination that could impact safety

A product only moves forward once it's passed every relevant stage. After that, it goes to the responsible person for a final compliance check - a formal sign-off that confirms it meets the standards required for professional use.

Batch Codes - and Why They're Useful

Every Bio Sculpture product has a batch code printed on the base or side of the bottle. If you ever need to report a concern - a reaction, a performance issue, anything - that code helps us trace exactly where that product came from and when it was made. Regulations change all of the time. Without batch codes we wouldn't be able to remove products from circulation. This could then be dangerous for you and for your client.

All of this is about more than compliance. It's about being able to say, with confidence, that the products you're recommending to your clients have been properly looked after before they even got to you.
